Comfy from the start - Got these after searching for replacements for a pair of "desert boot" style slippers that were literally falling apart. I was looking for a slipper that had some ankle warmth, yet was still easy to step into rather than having to be pulled on. The Minnetonkas fit the bill as they have a nice room opening at the top. Fur can be turned up or down as you please.

Comfy casual - As for looks, what you see is what you get. True to the picture. The level of comfort is awesome. True it may not be the cutest, but cool with jeans and just plain walking around town. I wear these when walking my dog for 45 minutes, doing errands and my feet do not feel tired. The 3 velcro sites are cool to adjust the shoe; it's what I expect from Clarks. This is my 3rd pair.

Comfy boots, but the insole sits 'high' in the heel, so consequently the boots 'slip' as you walk. Hoping it will pack down and form to my foot.

Comfy and good looking - I really like this boot, but I gave it only 4 stars because the black version that I bought isn't waterproof and I had assumed all Sorel brand boots were waterproof because that's what they're known for. I have a duckfoot shaped, C width foot with high insteps, and this style worked really well for me. I also have their zip front style in bone/grey which is waterproof and which I like, but the zipper always comes unzipped after only a few steps. So I tried the lace up and after many miles of hiking in it already, found it comfy, with reliable footing in rough terrain yet dressy enough to wear with skirts. To keep my foot from sliding forward I discovered I have to tighten the lower laces. This is very easy to get into wearing a heavy hiking sock yet soft enough to wear with stockings. My feet get soaked, however, when hiking in slushy snow. For those who have the zip up, if you punch a hole with a leather punch at the top of each zipper in the corner, run a short matching shoelace through one hole, behind the tongue and out the other hole, tie it up, the zipper will stay up. I did that on mine and it works well and looks fine.
